Lotmead Soft Fruit Farm, lower Wanborough, Swindon

Strawberries
and Steam was started back in 1992 by Colin Hatch and Roy Bridgeman.
Unfortunately Roy passed away in 2004.
Strawberries and Steam is hosted at Lotmead
pick your own farm in Wanborough near Swindon.
This event is family oriented with lots to keep the children occupied
whilst mum and dad can enjoy the sight and sounds of the array of steam
rollers, traction engines and portables.

This
event attracts a lot of exhibitors including vintage and veteran
motorcycles and vehicles including cars and commercial vehicles as well as
a large selection of static engine

Lotmead PYO was Started in 1985, and are Swindon's only PYO growing table top strawberries. The
table top layout means there is no bending and brings the pleasure of fruit
picking. Lotmead also have Raspberries, Red and
Black Currants and a wide range of vegetables including Asparagus (supplied
ready picked).
